Jump Rope Fit - Privacy Notice

Introduction

Your privacy is important to us. It is Thumb Wizards Software, LLC's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you through our app, Jump Rope Fit.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Our app may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

Jump Rope Fit App Analytics

• Purpose: We gather and observe data for the purpose of identifying trends and making data-driven decisions to enhance app improvements and marketing strategies.
• How We Get It: Your data is automatically collected through third-party analytics providers from your interactions with the app.
• Services Used: We use the following third-party services to help us monitor, analyze, and improve the app:
  • Amplitude – for product analytics and behavioral insights
  • RevenueCat – for managing subscriptions and in-app purchases
  • Sentry – for crash reporting and performance monitoring

Your continued use of our app will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, feel free to contact us.

Community and Apple Cloud Data

Jump Rope Fit includes community features where users can optionally share their workouts publicly with others through Apple's CloudKit platform.

• What We Store: Shared workouts include performance data such as jump count, workout duration, and calories burned. This information is associated with an anonymized user profile and stored in Apple’s iCloud public database using CloudKit.
• Location Region: If you choose to share workouts, your app’s region settings (e.g. country or locale) may be used to group your data geographically. This is based on the region identifier provided by your device and stored alongside your shared data in CloudKit. You have the option to change your region setting in the app to reflect any location you choose.
• Privacy and Control: Your data is never shared without your consent. You may choose to delete your shared workouts at any time from within the app. All community data is stored securely using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and follows Apple's privacy and security standards.

Thumb Wizards Software, LLC uses Amplitude on jumpfit.com, with your permission, to understand website visits and clicks on links to our App Store page. We do not load Amplitude or send website analytics until you choose Accept analytics. A previous choice about Google Analytics does not authorize Amplitude.

After you accept, we send a page-visit event and an event when you click an App Store link on a marketing homepage or localized FAQ page. The information we add is limited to a known website page path without query strings or fragments, page type, language, a broad referrer category and the location of the App Store link on the page. We do not send the original referrer URL, query parameters, form contents, your name, email address or phone number.

The events also contain technical information such as their time, event identifier, a random browser identifier, a session identifier and the analytics software version. We omit the actual IP address and raw user-agent string from the event payload and suppress optional IP enrichment. Requests to Amplitude still involve ordinary browser and network information, including your IP address; these controls do not remove that network processing.

After you accept, we save a random identifier in this browser's local storage and use it to count visits from this browser together for up to 180 days, until the analytics choice expires or you withdraw it. This is a pseudonymous browser identifier. We also use session storage to group page visits in this browser tab, with a new session after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not connect these identifiers to a login, to the Jump Rope Fit app or to its Watch and iPhone identifiers. This integration does not use Amplitude analytics cookies, automatic interaction capture, session replay or advertising personalization.

Amplitude processes this website information on our behalf. See its explanation of customer end-user data. Website analytics is sent to Amplitude's US service. This analytics choice does not change data collection in the Jump Rope Fit app.

Website analytics events in our Amplitude website project are subject to a 13-month retention period, measured from when Amplitude receives each event. Amplitude deletes events outside that period through its scheduled retention process. This is separate from the 180-day period for using your saved browser identifier and analytics choice. Withdrawing consent stops future collection but does not immediately delete previously sent events. Once expired events are deleted, they cannot be recovered.

Your analytics choice

You can choose Accept analytics or Decline. If you decline or leave the choice unanswered, Amplitude stays blocked. You can still read the website, navigate its pages and use its App Store links.

We use your saved analytics choice for up to 180 days. Expired choices and identifiers are ignored; we remove them when the website next checks them and browser storage permits. When local storage can neither save a withdrawal nor remove an older acceptance, we may use a decline-only jumpfit_amplitude_denied cookie for up to 180 days to prevent that acceptance from being reused. It contains no analytics identifier. If your browser cannot save an acceptance or the analytics session, analytics stays off. Clearing website data, changing browsers or an expired choice means the website asks again.

Open Analytics settings at any time to change your choice. Withdraw analytics consent stops further website analytics, removes the saved website identifier and session when browser storage permits, and normally reloads the same page with analytics blocked. It does not erase information already sent to Amplitude. If the website reports that withdrawal could not be saved, analytics stays off in the current page, but the browser cannot remember that withdrawal on later visits. Clear this website's saved data through your browser settings before revisiting to remove any older acceptance.

This choice controls Amplitude on this website. External sites, including the App Store, have their own privacy practices.
